Team Prize Information

1st Place: $750 ($250 per player)
2nd Place: $450 ($150 per player)
3rd Place: $225 ($75 per player)

Tournament Scheduling

Team Limit: 12 teams

Find a Teammate: A “find a teammate” area will be available on game day for solo players or teams needing a fill-in. No guarantees for pairing

Notification: Teams will be notified on-site by tournament organizers when it is time to play

Preparation Time: Teams have 10 minutes to log in, configure settings, and set up gear

Disqualification: Teams that cannot join the lobby within 10 minutes of their scheduled time may be disqualified at the discretion of station workers

Exceptions: May be granted if issues are caused by tournament equipment or organizers

Tournament Rules

Eligibility: Open to players aged 13+

Teams: 12 teams (3 players each, with one optional substitute)

Registration: All players are encouraged to create a SoDak Circuit Player Profile to speed up check in day of event.

Sign-in: Players may use their own Riot account or a provided SoDak Circuit Riot account

SoDak Circuit Provided Characters: Jett, Sage, Brimstone, Sova, Phoenix, and Omen

Equipment: Personal gear may be used if fully plug-and-play. No manual driver installation allowed. If personal gear cannot be set up within the 10-minute prep window, default tournament equipment will be used

Sportsmanship: All participants must act respectfully and in a sportsmanlike manner. SoDak Circuit staff have final say on violations and penalties

Concession: Teams may concede a match at any time

Game Settings

Match Duration: 55 minutes maximum. If time expires, the team with more rounds won is the winner. If tied, one overtime round is played; winner of the overtime round is declared match winner

Game Mode: Custom match, standard Valorant competitive settings

Format: 3v3, single elimination

Changes: Tournament staff reserve the right to adjust settings if necessary

Substitutions:

Each team may have one substitute player

Substitutes must be declared in the Player Profile before the tournament begins

Substitutes must be on the official roster prior to the first match

Match Settings

Lobby: Invite Only Custom Match

Map: Randomized via spinner wheel

Presets:

Cheats: Off

Tournament Mode On

Overtime: Off

Play Out All Rounds: Off

Hide Match History: Off

Match Pausing:

Disconnections: If a player disconnects during a round, the SoDak Circuit staff must pause only after the round is over. Each team is allowed one pause per game. The pause must not exceed 5 minutes in length, at which point play will resume regardless of circumstances. The game cannot be paused during an active round; any ongoing round must conclude before pausing.

More Time: If you require more time for a pause, notify a member of the SoDak Circuit staff immediately.
