Teams: Each team will consist of 3 players, with the option to have one substitute player in case a primary player cannot participate.

Notification: Teams will be notified in person by the tournament organizer on-site about when they will play.

Preparation Time: Team members will have 10 minutes to configure their in-game settings before joining the lobby. This includes if the contestant wants to use their own gear.

Game Settings

Team vs. Team: 3v3

Matches: First team to win 13 rounds wins the match. Teams swap sides after 12 rounds are played. If the match reaches 55 minutes, the team with most round wins at that time.

Map: Randomized before each match from pre-determined pool

Map Pool: TBD

T/CT Starting Side: Randomized before each match

Changes: The SoDak Circuit staff reserves the right to change the tournament settings at any time.

Substitutions

Substitutes: Teams are allowed one substitute in the case that a primary team member is unable to participate in a match.

One substitute is allowed as long as they are registered before the tournament starts. Players can substitute only if substitutes have been declared as part of their roster before ANY matches have begun.

Your substitute must be added to your team on the SoDak Circuit Event page on Challonge.com.

The substitution is allowed BEFORE a match starts. No substitutions during a match. If the primary shows up during a match, they have to wait for the next match (if the team advances) to play.

Match Pausing

Disconnections: If a player disconnects during a round, the SoDak Circuit staff must pause only after the round is over. Each team is allowed one pause per game. The pause must not exceed 5 minutes in length, at which point play will resume regardless of circumstances. The game cannot be paused during an active round; any ongoing round must conclude before pausing.

More Time: If you require more time for a pause, notify a member of the SoDak Circuit staff immediately.
